Greetings all:
I am searching for the birth location of several members of the Harrison family in central Liverpool during the 1700s. They were all bricklayers who must have relocated from elsewhere in the County (or even beyond). There was a brickfield(s) in Ormskirk which seem to date back to that period. Apparently some activity in Skelmersdale area but I have no information about what or when. I have noticed bricks-works on the map in Fazakerley too. I have spent many hours chasing up birth records without identifying the right Harrisons. Unfortunately, birth records for Ormskirk on the main family search sites don't seem to include father's occupation, which is a real stumbling block. If anyone has any information that relates to any of the above, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
